Who doesn’t love a little glitz and glamour? That’s why we have award shows at all, right? The 2012 Tony Awards were no different, but what stood out to me this year were the gorgeous purple gowns that walked across the red carpet, especially Bernadette Peter’s dress. Sultry!

And, of course, the other stand out event was that Neil Patrick Harris was asked to host the award show for the third time in a row. He is always my favorite part, anyway
